Marriage:
Marriages are combined to maintain a balance, in some way. The ideal solution is the exchange of daughters between two families. Sometimes a promised bride is sufficient, but high mortality rate for infants may complicate the arrangement and lead to conflicts.
The exchange of food and services is ruled by mutual giving and receiving. Debts are never forgotten and require a payment.
Also pregnancy is an issue related to balance, namely it has the purpose to maintain an equal distribution of the members of a family in the world of the spirits and in the material one.
